Floorplans Pro App Reviews

Excellent so far! Ive been searching constantly for an app or apps like this and this one seems to be able to do what I need fairly easily. As expected, any tweaks, updates and additions would be greatly welcomed!

This app is easy to learn and use, particularly for a non-drafting professional. There is room for improvement, though, particularly in the objects such as furniture that are available for selection. For example, you can select a toaster but there is no option to select kitchen tables and chairs individually. 3D would also be nice, although I did receive an email in April saying this was planned for a future release in a few months. With regard to support, at first, emails were responded to in a timely manner, but the last support request I submitted was on August 13, 2012 with a status of "serious bug" that "happens often" and I have not not yet received a response (their auto email states a response time of 24 hours). Perhaps they are really busy with support requests, but if this is the case it would be helpful to change the auto email to accurately reflect the true response time. Overall, this is a useful application that I will continue to use, and I look forward to future enhancements.

This is a super cool app and I totally recommend it for those who just want to create a random floor plan like me. For sure I would give this app a 5 star rating if it had a feature that would let you customize the flooring a little bit better. Like make it a bit darker or lighter. Or add a bunch of different flooring entirely.

This App is one of the best apps for a Realtor. You can make a Floorplan of a property in no time at all.

Just started using the app for floor design. It seems to work well and is quite user friendly and accurate. I would give it a good thumbs up.

I spent two hours creating a diagram of my basement. I couldnt get the floor copier to work properly so i could layout out my main floor on top of my basement floor. It kept messing up the walls of my locked diagram so I had to measure the walls again and redo a quarter of my diagram. It was good i didnt waste my time on the second floor as The program suddenly crashed and wiped out all of my work when i restarted the program. This program needs some work. The tools are great but its buggy. Id wait to buy this one. Mike

4+, seriously? I tried to use it many times and it never works properly. A waste of time and money!

Have tried a few different apps of similar types but finds his to be among the worst. Not only is it difficult and not very user friendly, it crashes a lot and after completing a design and printing it all you see is he images. There is no measurement or plan to work from, just an image. I wish I had read more of the reviews before buying.

More than my expectations and does the job right.

Tried many, few even work, but this one does it all. Developers keep improving it, and thats a big part of my 5 star rating!

Excellent app. Only wish you could get the square footage to centre or outside walls if you desired. Other than that....love it

I bought this app to help create an addition to our office. (I am not a builder or architect, just worker bee) There were so many apps to choose from, I just crossed my fingers and picked this one. It was just what I needed. It is easy to add and delete walls, stretch rooms and play with elements. It would be nice to see a feature that would "lock" walls that shouldnt be changed. I saw one review that complained that you could accidentally change a room size and not remember the original size. Hopefully there will also be more furniture added in the future. Overall I am very pleased.

I bought this app hoping to do single room plans, not an entire home or floor. I have had difficulty drawing the rooms as each time I add a wall the size of the one I just drew changes--very frustrating! I have read the help and watched the tutorial and followed the help instructions, but have not had success.

This app is amazing because of how fast it allows you to sketch out a layout idea. Taking plans made from this program into AutoCad is a breeze. If Green Tea Software made a landscaping version of this app, landscape designers would throw money at them.

When the app stays running it is great. But the constant crashing sometimes makes it unusable. I would hate to rely on this app for my job.

I like the way I can put my ideas down. Its a smart system and easy to navigate and once you get it. Then it becomes enjoyable. Bravo team!

The mechanism for entering lengths is very cumbersome and if you do enter a length for Side A and you have a 41/2" wall you have to calculate the centre and B side walls to enter separately. Very awkward and after 20 minutes I still had only two walls up and could not get the third up accurately. Use a piece of paper and a pencil. You will be happier and less frustrated.
