If you want to change your house s floor plans or move furniture around this is a must have app. Works great and support is of great help...
Im glad of my purchase, but the software needs two major improvements :
- possibility to change wall width
- inaccurate calculation in metrics (ex :2x2=3.99)
Worth every penny if you are a nerd hobbist. Probably, there is a lot of missing tools and functions if compared to a desktop version. Great app!
According to the informative support reply, the ability to copy pdf floorplans via iTunes will Be included in the next version. More furniture and structural elements Gould also Be very useful.

I needed to create a floor plan for a hotel where basically every single room on every floor differs from the other. With this app I was able to walk trough the house equipped with the iPad and a LaserTool for distance measurement and within minutes I had a basic floor plan on the go.
Best app I tried so far. Simple and fast.
This app is very useful. I work in the flooring industry and the design your own floor loan really comes in handy. With the latest upgrade it makes it easier to undo and redo.Well worth the price, compared to the $1500.00 versions from other companies.
Some bad moments
After iOS 8 update this App stopped working. Theres no one in the app support to answer our complaint. Its an expensive and abandoned app. Its a shame!
Easy to use, enough symbols for private use/planning.
But there is a problem with the measurements of the walls: you cant get the exact measurement you want. For example, I want to draw a 8x8 room (metric), but it always result ins 7.9xx or 8.0xx for the walls, but never in plain 8.0 meters. And if you select a wall, select the info button (this leads to a dialogue where you can input the measurements via keyboard) the measurements keep changing... I.e. You change measurement a, then automatically measurement b changes as well.... And so on. This also means, that you dont get exact corners.
This was a waste of money and crashes on a regular basis. I was an AutoCad user and this app needs a lot of work.
You cannot import from PDF always crashes you cannot use the web no keyboard. Just a horrible floor planner home 3 d is the best
I spent two hours creating a diagram of my basement. I couldnt get the floor copier to work properly so i could layout out my main floor on top of my basement floor. It kept messing up the walls of my locked diagram so I had to measure the walls again and redo a quarter of my diagram. It was good i didnt waste my time on the second floor as The program suddenly crashed and wiped out all of my work when i restarted the program. This program needs some work. The tools are great but its buggy. Id wait to buy this one.
